To focus each wave of teams, The CEO sponsored a Leadership Jumpstart Event that brought together the senior field and home office managers along with subject matter experts from across the organization. This expanded leadership team “jumpstarted” the best practice initiative by applying Leap Technologies’ structured approach to:

To support the deployment, a group of regional Rapid Action Team Coaches were trained to support the teams. These coaches conducted periodic conference calls to check progress and share lessons learned. In addition they facilitated a Listen, Learn and Leverage Meeting at the conclusion of each 60-day wave. These meetings brought together the expanded leadership team and focused on leveraging lessons learned and institutionalizing best practices. They also formed the launch point for the next wave.
Over the past four years, fifteen waves and hundreds of teams have deployed and implemented hundreds of best practice ideas. By attacking profit-draining problems like excess parts inventory, attendance, overtime, vehicle breakdowns and unsafe practices, millions of dollars in savings have been restored directly to the bottom line.
